About Us

Mayhugh’s Medical Equipment is a local, family-owned and operated medical supply company. AHCA certified, licensed and insured.
We employ a staff of licensed respiratory therapists to answer all your questions and to make sure the physician’s orders are followed precisely. Mayhugh’s Medical Equipment stocks a large selection of respiratory and home medical equipment to meet the needs of today’s patients at home.

History

Mayhugh’s began as Mayhugh Drugs pharmacy in Green Cove Springs and was purchased by Robert Fletcher in 1982 from Mr. Mayhugh. Mayhugh’s began selling durable medical equipment (DME) around 2001 and soon outgrew our habitation.

Our biggest step so far has been moving to our new location in Jacksonville just 10 minutes southwest of downtown. Our current location in Jacksonville boasts an 8400 square foot warehouse with around 4000 square feet dedicated to CPAP equipment and supplies. The other 4000 square feet is dedicated to portable and home oxygen equipment, DME, scooters & power wheelchairs, lift chairs and bathroom safety equipment.
